Story
These linocut prints are inspired by my friend Sean, an avid mountain climber.
He says climbing is a problem-solving process that requires 100% strength and focus both mentally and physically.
In one of the prints, he's belaying and the shape of the wall happens to look like a giant face,
making it feel like they are having a silent conversation.
Maybe facing the battles of life is like rock climbing -
it's tough and risky, but we get the chance to challenge ourselves and find peace.
Details
This is a set of two handmade linocut prints, pressed onto 300gsm printmaking paper using black ink.
I'll do my best, hope you wouldn't mind the slight variations in each print,
and would love the uniqueness created by the handmade nature of printmaking.
These prints are approximately 8"× 8" (20cm × 20cm) on 10" × 10" (25cm × 25cm) paper.
They come with protective cardboard frames.
All prints are titled, signed and dated.
